D24.90 Collapsed Noble Catacombs Entrance

The 50ft wide secret entrance to an opulent catacombs, clearly meant for nobility of the highest standing. The walls are composed of masterfully crafted bricks of lapis lazuli, encrusted with runes and intricately carved pictograms of dragons in gold. Alas, 50ft ahead is a pile of rubble of lapis lazuli bricks coated in gold dust. Digging deeper into the rubble reveals 2d6 cage bars of platinum alloy, and a shattered fragments of lapis lazuli coated jade urns spilling their contents which contain gold fragments of bone.  With about a week of digging or the correct spell that digs at least 60ft ahead, the way forward may be cleared which leads deeper into the catacombs.

L24.90 Threadtoothed Raptor

 A bipedal avian creature native to Yeron, the Swamp of Shadow Oils. It sleeps in the high strata of the swamps, often floating near the surface commonly appearing as a black clump of shadow-reeds. When a prey is nearby, it springs from under the swampwaters revealing its reed-shaped feathers and bares its metallic beak. When open, it's beak reveals numerous fine threads that glisten silver, which are capable of effortlessly slicing flesh and the joints of bones which it has learned the most fastest ways of divesting of its prey. Often, it does not seek to consume its prey whole, but will only take a limb before diving deeper into the swamp water to hide. According to beastermaster Kuluthrum of the Gangawe Tribe which resides at the edge of Yeron, the Threadtoothed has in it's gizzard rare gems which are capable of expediently absorbing the magical forces of all manner of objects and is used as an ingredient of their spiced elixir a tiny pot of which is distilled as offering to

D24.89 Galulin's Saw

A vast shaft 90 ft in diameter containing two portals connected by a narrow bridge of steel at the centre of which is fitted a gargantuan circular saw made of adamantine. Each tooth of the saw is gilded with a sharp layer of black diamond which effortlessly cuts through all matter except those bearing magical properties. Each tooth is also coated in a thick layer of glistening sawdust of magical wildwood, which may conjure random magical effects when scattered of disturbed. The saw is protected by 5d6 gargoyles perched under the narrow bridge attack with their long bidents and bows, who will activate as any creature they detect approach the saw.

L24.89 Filletstone

An odd scintillating stone the side of a man parted into 6 pieces in a linear fashion. Found studded along sprigs, it is said when a branch of sacred myrtle charged with the energies of willowind is scraped along each piece, a corridor of darkness appears connecting to another location along the same Qeleres where another Filletstone stands. Often used by pilgrims of high sanctity, these stones are often heavily protected with shrine-castles built around them, but sometimes they may be found deep in the underbark.

D24.88 Tannery of Madness

 A large leather tannery 80x100ft in size, clove into two, with one area higher in elevation than the other by 50ft, revealing a vertical limestone cliff. Numerous tanning and leatherworking workbenches are crammed up against the cliff on which are the skeletons of numerous creatures. At the top of the cliff sits an undead dwarf seated on a foul smelling couch of dragon leathers wielding a leather whip that emanates a concentrated aura of chaos. The dwarf's eyes are blazing with orange with madness. Every 12 seconds, the dwarf is able to invoke the power of his whip that allows it to strike a creature up to 60ft away. Those weak in constitution may flinch and be turned by the whip's hideous smell and aura. When creatures arrive too close to the cliff, the dwarf will yell, invoking numerous 2d6 foul smelling air elementals who will attack with bolts of stench. L24.88 Kernelthief

 One of the most heretical titles known to civilisations across the Qeleres. Given to those who seek to steal the grace of the kernels of the Divine Fruit of the Qeleres.  The fruitbearing of the Qeleres were recorded only twice in ancient tomes. It is said to have be in the shape of maize, and half the size of the tip of a sprig and manifests only at the tip of sprigs.  Due to its size, and the energies of creation condensed within it, it is said to explode and scatter its kernels in a dark explosion, distributing boulder sized kernels across the Spoke, distributing its grace to all beings in the Spoke. The first Kernelthief was Librareiter Halakhad a ancient Grandmaster of the profaned Sorrelmancy who gathered a band of dangerous characters in a quest to halt the Divine Kernel Alhaklutaea in it its orbit and feed on its grace in their desire to gain divine powers. Halakhad ambition nearly bore fruit but was put to end by a Band of Florets - a band of fourteen heroes from the Barren,

D24.87 Footlock Ruin

The shattered ruins of a deeply despised dungeon. It now spans a 80x50ft space above rapids of corrosive blue acid 70gt below, and is composed of 3d6 crumbling islands 10ft in size each, spaced 5 to 20ft from one another.  Upon stepping on an island terrible hexes will manifest, binding creatures of the island with ethereal chains of paralysis that deal 1 damage per turn. The 5d6 harpies that roam the ruin will swoop to feed on any paralysed creatures, but are also susceptible becoming victim to the same trap.

L24.87 Springincense

The aromatic sap of tall hedges found on the high points of various Sprigs. The scent produced from the sap slightly differs from sprig to sprig, but all are used in sacred rites practiced on the sprig and are highly coveted.

D24.86 Duelists' Monopteros

 An ornate monopteros 70ft in diameter, composed of  tall fluted pillars of basalt and a round roof cladded in brass. All over the marble floor under the monopteros are numerous bladed weapons - swords, rapiers, daggers, alongside the skeletal remains of dwarves.  Bound to a chair is a partially decomposed, blindfolded and gagged dwarf in a robe who emanates an 30ft diameter aura of frenzy, making those unwise quick to anger and easily provoked. The source of the frenzy however is not from the dwarf, but from an blazing amber amulet welded to his skin. If unbound, he the dwarf reveals himself as Alazurin, an undead dwarf, the sworn enemy of Overlord Thraulin, who he claims was one of those responsible for the fall of Craagveald. He will offer his assistance to get revenge on the Overlord, but will furiously attack if he suspects the party show signs of having some allegiance the Thraulin

L24.86 Maizebound Enchiridion

A fabled tome held by the semi-mythical Abiomancer - said to have gained forbidden knowledge regarding the creation of living matter from nothing. The Abiomancer appears in numerous myths across civilisations upon the Qeleres, known by different names - the Naughtborn - in the Far Ends, the Voidshaper - upon the Barren Qeleres. In all myths, there is the same mention of the Maizebound Enchiridion - a thin tome with a cover made of steel maize, containing the secrets of Abiomancy which the Abiomancer bequeaths the civilisations' heroes a single page from which great prosperity was said ensue thereafter.

L24.85 Warped Chamber

A spherical chamber 40ft in diameter composed entirely of an adamantine alloy filled with heavy water.  A hatch at the top of the chamber is the only means of entry and exit into the chamber. The continuum of space is extremely distorted within the chamber and swimming in any direction only brings the creature further from the hatch. Only creatures with true seeing will be able to discern a way forward to the exit upon successful observation bolstered by wisdom.

L24.85 Wingdolin

A instrument made from the wings of the ubiquitous choral crickets. Due to the size of a cricket, around three may be made from a single wing. The wingdolinist scrapes two wings against one another rapidly to produce a choral, resonant sound and by changing the angle of scraping may the color of sound be transfomed. Depending on the region, the wingdolins created may produce completely different sounds.

D24.84 Ceiling of Trolls

A ceiling space spanning 300x500ft which vaults upwards 100ft high above. Between the ceiling and the vast volume below is a sturdy grid of old charred wooden struts around 50ft in width each placed at 100ft intervals. All manner of giant vermin such as colossal spiders and rats roam the struts seeking prey, some of which are led by 1d6 trolls wielding iron whips and clubs.

L24.84 Veernswert Skirmisher

A mounted skirmisher troop seen around the anyone carved Khulght Sprig. Armored thick Silvermane Cricket fur, they are armed with two large whitebronze boomerangs and poisoned blowdarts. They ride upon mothwinged goats which quickly traverse  the steep terrain. 

D24.83 Drumfloored Alley

 An enchanted alleyway 30ft wide and 60ft in length. The floor is composed of numerous round drums in excellent condition. Upon stepping on them, the drums make a loud, clear, and strong sound which may alert nearby creatures to seek out the sound.  At the end of the alley is a dead end where the corpse of a dwarven bard may be found, who has 1d6 musical scores that produce various magical effects regarding the conjuring of persistent instruments alongside a pouch of electrum coins.

L24.83 Theuward, Saintduke of Fanlaer

A noble of the the Sacred Kaalgen Empire in the treacherous Starshade Sprig, the domain of venerable Aalgeeans who fight continuously in their eternal battle against the Outer Resplendence said to be the font of all resplendence that birthed the Infernal Resplendence. Saintduke Theuward is remembered in Aalgeean tradition as a heroic guardian of Huwin Pass, where his fort Fanlaer stands to this day. It is said the forces of Five Stars converged upon the pass, intending to break through into the Lower Sprigs. Rallying his army he warded the Resplendent and was said to have called upon two Divine Centipedes who emerged from the Bark at during a decisive moment in battle where he narrowly escaped death from the deadly blows of two generals of Resplendence. With assistance of the Centipedes, the Resplendent Host was scattered, and would not harry his domain for the next two centuries.

D24.82 Corridor of Quartz Crickets

A narrow corridor 80ft long and 30ft wide made of hewn oligoclase. Every 10ft are small alcove on each side of the corridor's walls where lamps containing glowing quartz crickets reside. When a creature passes, the crickets begin their chorus of high frequency chirps, dealing 1d6 sonic damage every 6 seconds. Hidden above each alcove is a magical gemstone capable of converting sound energy into a serving of food once per day.

L24.82 Bubblebog

Hydrological formations of dense concentrations of blubbermoss along the bark of Qeleres. Known also as the home or bubblemancy a branch of transmutation dealing in the forms of alkaline substances which are aplently in the bogs. Many live on rafts of sawgravel , which residents use to reclaim land in the bogs.

D24.81 Silver Crossing

A sturdy bridge 70ft width and 180ft in length made of rough hewn peridot. Below the bridge is a lake of sweltering molten silver. The bridge is punctured with numerous holes and studded the broken ballista arrows. 2d6 Heavily armored dwarf skeletons holding large pavise shields stand guard at the other end of the bridge and will attack crossers with a mix of light and siege crossbows. They guard a palanquin in which are 1d6 chests filled with gems and electrum coins.

L24.81 Dunes of Abjuring

A mounded powderlakes of composed of Abjuring Sand that wards all creatures from entry save those dissolved by saplings of bonewood. Access into the dunes required a painful sacrificial process of refining bone into wood, which negates the warding of Abjuring Sand which can only be stored in bags of ivory silk.  The sand is typically scattered in the air, and will ward most incoming spell or blows save those of bonewood.

D24.80 Cavehall of Glass

A cave of architectonic formations of glass. Numerous pot-like sculptures appear to be carved from the ground and are filled with many acids.  The Cavehall is occupied by 2d6 gnolls led by a leader Fhurhun Halfskin, whose appears to be missing half his fur.  Skilled in alchemy, he seeks to extract the stomach acids from various intruders, and will order his less intelligent fellows to attack. When threatened, he casts a range of transmutation Spells and is adept with unarmed combat. Hidden in his bald arm is an intricately carved bone made of elm which acts as a wand from which he casts his spells. The wand regains 1d6 charges per day when implanted as a bone or soaked in blood, up to a maximum of 12 charges.  Breaking the wand reveals an evil recipe of ascension, which allows one to concoct a potion that allows one to significantly advance in physical and spiritual might which requires numerous taboo ingredients and the permanent sacrifice of half one's hair to concoct 

L24.80 Ropewalkers

Peoples of a civilisation that thrived in the Far End of the Barren Qeleres during a time in it's history where it bore a single sprig which had by now collapsed into the bark.  The last testament of their glory is the Archcity Jaladulis buried deep in the underbark where numerous be illustrations of their history and daily lives were recorded meticulously in bark slips stringed by thin ropes.  Masters of funambulism, they were capable of travelling vast distances upon rope even when bearing large burdens.  Now many adventurers and learners delve at the site of the Ropewalker Sprig's collapse hoping to uncover caches of lost learning and uncover the lost art of ropewalking.

D24.79 Aktar's Hovel

A narrow, hovel 40x70ft in size. The hovel's entrance is caked in clay soil bearing humanoid footprints. The entire stretch of the hovel is made of pure garnet, increasing in lustre deeper within. At the last 30ft squats Sickledemon Aktar a mad, mute and bald dwarf covered in clay, piling up a clay mound.  Two crude sickle swords made of raw iron rests around him. If disturbed, his swords become visciously animated, and act as though a master swordsman were holding them to slay any aggressive creatures. Inside the mound are numerous fish bones made of diamond, worth a large sum of gold.

L24.79 Leafboned Titan

A colossal humanoid with a skeleton made of leaves tightly bound by dust thread encased in flesh of bark. A creation for purposes of warfare by the counterparts of the ancient Dhirvians - the Xeelvaeans. According to the scant fragments of records left on bat leather scrolls, the Xeelvaeans were masters of communal spirit weaving. Five or more Weavers would sit in intense meditation upon sanctified bark and meditate composing bark and leaf as they willed. Thus far only one Titan has been uncovered in the dig site in the Dilmac Sprig, managed by the Erudite Dexelmore.

D24.78 Reamslag Weavery

An enclosed 60x70ft cave composed of warped, contorted dark ores. Numerous reams of cloth sprawl across the wet cave floor. The cloth reams are of dark shades, and of a strange grainy rock like texture. 1d6 dusty platinum thread spinning wheels are positioned alongside stools which are manned by invisible weaver ghosts who will conjure various deadly weapons from the strange cloth using the thread spinners to attack intruders with.  Someone learned in clothes making may receive insight with regards to the secrets of thread conjuration when presented with both a team of cloth and a platinum thread spinner.

L24.78 Scalebound Vines

An odd remnant of a bygone age. Found in the darker reaches of the Qeleres, far from the Infernal Resplendence are swaths of bark where brittle vines composed of stone scales grow in plently along solid surfaces. Often seen as a nuisance and frequently pruned, a number of loremasters surmise it is related to the birth of the first scalebirds.

D24.77 Ghealmord's Oven

A colossal clay oven 70x200ft in size. The deep end of the oven is filled with a mix of dusty cinders and embers glowing blue. The lingering scent of baked bread and charred meat permeates the air. There are numerous haunches of moldy meat and breads dotting the expanse of this oven. The mold is very infectious and breathing its spores may result in a malaise of fever. But when the mold is tinctured, it provides potent healing effects. Numerous vermin of giant size also stalk the heaps of leftover food, and may attack those who come too close.

L24.77 Stone Feathers

Odd clumps of feathers the size of trees composed of brittle stone of shades of blue. Found usually on sprigbark far from the Infernal Resplendence, some theorists claim the feathers were part of the ancestors of scalebirds when they first arrived in the Spoke from worlds far beyond... Now it serves as shade against Resplendent Orbs that dot the Anthre in the darker reaches of the Qeleres.

D24.76 Chancel of Red Wax

A ruined chancel 100x200ft in size, caked in molten red wax that flows across the walls, pillars and ceiling. At the alter resides Waxwain Whuldur, a draugr priest in pure robes of white muttering in intense prayer. Whuldur ignores any intruders unless they attack him, upon which he conjures numerous holy spells and summons Wyrms and composed of wax from the ground which spew scalding wax at targets in a cone up to 60ft which may cause temporary blindness and slowing of reflexes. Alongside the Wyrms are 2d6 wax skeletons wielding weapons of wax that deal physical and fire damage. He holds a cursed rosary that inflicts a curse of undead upon the wearer but grants access to 5 random holy spells, alongside his holy book which contain 1d6 + 2 high level sacred spells. Underneath the altar is an ancient scroll containing a legendary spell alongside a 5d6 shards of a broken sacred mace which contain immense spiritual power which may be used in place of a spell slot.  If at least 12 shards ar

L24.76 Weedwreathe Pearl

 A rare artefact found in Anthreian Pools - gargantuan concentrations of mist high in the Anthre said to be the font of all calamities of air. As all manner of flora taken by the squalls that wrack the bark, they converge in the Pools, which swirl about a multiple cores that are the Weedwreathe Pearls, small and dense, of a deep azure colour. First witnessed by Kildervax the Threadwinged, the renowned adventurer from the Barren Qeleres who delved deep into Salashigar's Pool around which numerous shattered bark float. On the shattered bark is Dhelgenhuld Lost, an abandoned Dhirvian mansion now made the base of operations of numerous adept adventurers of the Barren Qeleres, claimed by Kildervax and his companions who first set foot within it.

L24.75 The Bladesprig

A treacherous sprig on the Firm Qeleres. Depsite its viciousness far surpassing that of those corrupted by respledence, the Bladesprig is said to be an ancient sacred bark on which none but those chosen by the Heart of the Firm Qeleres are permitted to tread - named the Heartchosen Covered in dried blood, bladed bark springs from its surface slaying all even in the anthre above it, wreathing it in pall of crimson. There is an obscure tale of Delbern the Foolish who was said to have entered the Bladesprig where he met a corpulent Chameel named Thurant one of the Heartchosen who imparted upon him the prophesized the Engulfing - during which the Infernal Resplendence grows to a tremendous size, consuming all the Qeleres in its path.

D24.75 Calhamand's Oesophagus

A 60ft x 200ft tunnel composed of the petrified remains of Ore Dragon Calhamand. The walls and floor are composed of numerous veins of ore, punctured with rocks sacs containing corrosive acid. Numerous acid spiders make these acid sacs their home, and will attack in large swarms upon detecting creatures nearby.

D24.74 Philterlawn

An arcane part of an extensive cave system 60ft in diameter. The soil in this sandstone cave is charged with transmutation powers causing it to be covered in multicolored glass philters. When stepped on they shatter into sharp shards charged with elemental energy, dealing 1 damage of a random element. Only the nimble or light may be able to tread above them safely. The philters are also strongly rooted to the ground and may also shatter when grabbed.

L24.74 Bladed Powderwyrm

A vicious predator that dwells in deep powderlakes and the Grainsea. It has a long body covered in scales of slime and numerous sharp fins capable of slicing things in it's way. It usually hunts prey larger than itself such as the Wooled whales, by inflicting cuts upon them until weakened after which they feast on flesh with their sharp teeth. Heroes of ancient times are said to have fashioned their weapons from the bladefins of these wyrms the largest of which came from the remains of Ugdulu the Grandbladed who was said to be slain by infernal grainbright.

D24.73 Pebblespring Cave

A treacherous 50x60ft in size. Numerous geysers eject small pebbles the size of fingertips, which burst into the air sending pebbles spinning at high speeds which leave tiny dents across the cave surface. Getting too close to a geyser will result in receiving significant blunt and slash damage. Occasionally a diamond appears among the ejected pebbles. There are numerous burlap sacks strewn across the floor, some partially filled with dust covered diamonds alongside the skeletal remains of a few dwarves.

L24.73 Snowshelled Seal

A plump seal that dwells in powderlakes of slow. Through the glass nubs of their head they able to accrete powdered snow along the length of their bodies to serve as protection against their predators, the white-feathered scalebirds who are virtually invisible due to their ability to blend in the skies. 

D24.72 Cementitious Cave

A treacherous cave completely made of cement-like material around 30x50ft in size. Touching any surface of the cave will result in cement being applied to one's skin which will harden and will become extremely difficult to remove. Further, staying at one location will cause the cement to run up any limbs affixing creatures in place except the 2d6 Cement Slimes which lurk beneath the cave's ground, waiting to ambush unsuspecting prey. Under the cave's ground is the rare Amulet of Soul-Saving which unfortunately failed to save its previous owner in time. When worn for 1 month, the amulet will prevent the dissipation of one's soul when one's body dies and too long a time has passed.

L24.72 House Fyrtyeld

A wealthy clan of a long lineage of nearly 100 generations. Established in the Fyrtyeld Clay Swamps, the clan-founder Oelvund made a fortune in discovering a method of easily harvesting the chitin from the many Clayhoppers native to the Swamps. Thereafter the clan's wealth grew rapidly as their trade expanded to trading of chitin and chitin-crafts and the efforts of 20 generations culminated in the construction of Castle Fyrtyeld and the granting of nobility by the Galdean Empire to the Fyrtyeld line in their assistance to the Empire during the the War of Reeds. Now many a chitin shop sources their chitin from a merchant house of Fyrtyeld, whose sale of chitins remains the most affordable to this day. 

D24.71 Drained Seabed

 A pit 70ft in diameter. The floor is of moondust and dotted with the scintillating fragments of coral composed of a metallic substance. At the centre of the pit is a large coral of the same metallic substace but shattered at various parts, surrounded by the skeletal remains of numerous dwarves and their broken tools. The coral is sentient and is able to discharge paralysing waves that are able to disembody the soul if one's spirit is not strong enough. The material it is made of has a property of channeling mind-altering magical effects with great effectiveness.

L24.71 Palm Emperor Unthupo

A legendary hero-king of the distant Saltwater Sprig of sparse bark. Emperor Unthupo was said to have subjugated the twenty kings of the sparse barks that dot the vast watersprig, uniting them in anticipation of the invasion of the Bright Pheasant riders who were prophesized to carry out their resplendent onslaught of resplendence and malaise. The heroic efforts of the united kings drove the brightfeinds away bringing a peace of five centuries...

D24.70 Bridge of Jellyfish

An ungodly bridge 50ft wide, 200ft long, composed of dead jellyfish with their flesh of endured luminescence. Their tendrils face upwards which may tingle feet unwrapped. Every 20 ft is a row of undead jellyfish whose tendrils may shock unsuspecting victims for 1 damage. Those alert enough may sense their presence through the very slight breeze emanating from them.

D24.70 Aldbryn the Sailor

A popular character from the Epic of Dhargan which regales the exploits of the legendary hero lord Dhargan who once ruled the prosperous semi mythical city of Wallavan. Aldbryn is depicted as a emaciated, extremely cynical and witty individual who survived the numerous catastrophes wrought by the Gods and the destruction that Dhargan's struggles engendered. His role is that of the voice of the common folk, and his incisive words have gained much respect among the masses.

D24.69 Dragonkin Gaol

A narrow wing of a gaol for imprisoning dragonkin. It has a corridor 60 ft in width that stretch 120ft. Every 30 ft, there is a small gaol cell of a 30x30ft size. Most of the dragonkin imprisoned are undead and breathe corrupted flames of undeath capable to afflicting creatures with illness. Their cells are made of solid gold, and many precious looking gems and gold coins line their beds. 2d6 Golems made of igneous rock stand guard to prevent the dragonkin from escaping, and will attack anyone trying to open the cages unless a sigil of the Silent Guard is displayed prominently.

L24.69 Academy of Bells

Located in the dark Pallake Sprig is the legendary Academy of Bells, home to the obscure art of Tonalmancy. Through the use of carefully crafted soulshaped bells, Tonalmancers are capable of focusing particular tones of resonant sounds, creating potent magical effects. The academy was founded by the Three Songstresses said to have descended from the Outer Dark, entrusting the first Tonalmancer, Endhumo with the mantle as a vanguard against the infernal resplendence. However, the Academy had long turned its back on its original task, and many a Tonalmancers recluse themselves in the Academy ever since the corruption wrought by the Profane Tonalmancer Kalhadur who lent his powers to the side of light a thousand years ago.

D24.68 Nightmare Corridor

A 60ft long corridor 30 ft wide and 50ft tall. It is composed of crystalline bricks of various colors. The room is enchanted by 1d6 Bricks of Nightmare embedded randomly among the multicolored bricks. When a creature approaches a Brick, it conjures a terrifying force of nature as an illusion, powerful enough to slay the mind of a creature. The Brick's power can be deactivated by covering it with a piece of metallic cloth, or loudly speaking the magic phrase THEAMOR UGANT - which may be learned of by searching the souls of dead Court Magi in the District of Order in Higher Craagveald.

L24.68 Colordrain Pebble

A rare pebble found in the depths of the underbark of the Barren Qeleres. Capable of draining all color from an object placed near it. The smaller the pebble is, the greater it's ability to drain color, and multiple microscopic colordrain pebbles are said to compose the deep spine of the Barren Qeleres. Threadmind Qualuku, one of the Transcendental Scholars of the Reedweaved Sophicracy is theorized in his many texts that the Colordrain Pebbles are synapses by which the Barren Qeleres channels unseen energies across its length...

D24.67 Hedgedame's Resirvoir

A dried up Resirvoir once the part of the Hedgedame's Vast Pavilion. 300x600ft in size, in it are remains of 5d6 grownstone leaves and lily pads. Each of them are of exceptional craftsmanship and worth at least 29 gold to learned collectors of stonecraft. When in possession of a creature and brought out of the resirvoir, Cthonic Hippos will begin to follow them to find opportunities to steal and eat them.

D24.67 Coilgrape

A rare fruit that grows high in the Anthre, among the clouds. It's translucent skin bears the texture of coils. Prized by many cookmasters for is exquisite aroma and rejuvenating taste, it is used in small amounts in the tincturing of various elixirs. It is also sought after by the elusive Mist Ferrets whose pelts are highly sought after by those who wish to fashion cloaks of invisibility.

D24.66 Shaft of Nicking

A very steep shaft 60ft in length, of a cross section 30ft in diameter. The ground is of rusted iron and the walls and floor are of quartz. The ground and walls are completely covered in shallow nicks. Due to the steep climb, it takes significant strength to safely scale or descend the shaft. Every 20ft, an invisible sentient Orb of Nicking manifests and sends out invisible shards of slicing, dealing 1 slash damage around a 20ft diameter for 12 seconds. With enough willpower, one may dominate the Orb if they are able to see or sense the orb, making them able to manifest it at will 3 times a day.

L24.66 Zuvulnaean Discus

A strange implement comprising a dull, pink crystal core from which linear branching threads emerge to form a disc like shape. An invisible force seems to prevent touch to the core and threads, allowing one to hold it like a discus. It is not known for what purpose this artefact exists other than that it was likely an unimportant item found in the dusty ruins of a Dhirvian vault.

D24.65 Hall of Anointment

A room 300ft in diameter composed of intricately hewn and engraved cerussite. And the centre is a large round altar above which an intricately engraved silver pipe points at. Upon enchanting the magical phrase ARG USROTH, the pipe ejects a drop of viscous transparent liquid which bestows an enchantment of evil slaying that lasts 1d6 times. The pipe will only activate thereafter after 1d6 days.

L24.65 Dust Lemur

One of the many creatures of the elusive Jungle of Dusts, where multicolored dusts converge to form a jungle of powders. Dust Lemurs ride along streams of dustvine with their odd tails with which they are able to propel themselves along such vines which would otherwise dissipate at a mere touch. They are known for their cloak-like pelts which obscure nearly all semblance of their bipedal form.

D24.64 Cave of Ceiling Mantas

A 60x70ft cavern of haemetite crystals. The ceiling is studded with scintillating shining spinel crystals interspersed by manta rays sculpted in the shape of manta rays. There are numerous broken and fallen ladders about alongside skeletons and broken pickaxes. Should one reach the ceiling and attempt to mine the spinel, roll 1d6. Other than on a 6, 1d6 manta sculptures animates and will attempt to kill the miner after which it will return to the ceiling and return to sleep. The spinels possess the unique attribute of being able to absorb and store magical energies and release them at a later time in the same state.

L24.64 Celdurn, Darkmist Gauntlet

A gauntlet of Websteel tarnished by Saltbright fitted with a buckler of a hollow center. The only remnant of the hero Zaalges the Dissipator.  Said to have discovered Celdurn in a lost Dhirvians vault, the gauntlet, combined with his skill in Fumimancy led him to be able to manifest dense mists of dark which was able to shroud from the onslaught of the magicks of bright, cementing his heroism in the recapture of Fright the frontier island in the Grainsea where he slew the Six Crawfish Lord Knights of Bright.  He is said to have embarked on a personal quest as he was released of his duties by permission of his Lord, the Queen of Lances Yirthev.

D24.63 Sandpaper Shack

A small shack 50x60ft in size. It is composed of thickly glued layers of sandpaper which have holes the make room for a single window made of translucent paper. In the shack lies numerous woodcrafts of mostly poor quality, but of great specularity capable of amplifying light shone upon it almost as well as a mirror.

L24.63 Lighteater Pangolin

A small creature with scales of shadowglads. They travel in herds in the Parnch region feeding on the light afforded by the Infernal Resplendence. Mostly meek creatures, but prized by many beastmasters for their unique resistance to light.

D24.62 Ordorin's Incomplete Wall

Part of a colossal wall that spans a vast deep ravine that surrounds Craagveald. A wall 300ft wide that spans 500ft, due to the incompleteness parts of the bridge are composed of wooden frames and unlaid bricks which are being hauled by few undead dwarves. 2d6 giant poison bats nest in this section and will attack when approached. In the nest, there are a few infant bats alongside the remains of 2d6 adventurers containing equipment, potions, scrolls and other paraphernalia.

L24.62 Storms of Grainlight

In the bottom-most depths of the Grainsea lies a region clouded grain-dust. As these dusts rub together, violent sparks emerge forming arcing rays of grainlight. When many a grainlight coalesce, the form a cloud of bright violent storms. Due to the harsh environment, the creatures the wade near the Storms have learned to to repel these arcs by encapsulating themselves in bubbles of oil, and some have even learned the dangerous arts of bending them to their will...

D61. Cinsluth's Pit

A pit 200ft in diameter smeared with much oil which give off astringent scents. Much dextrousness is required to traverse the floor for they tend to cause slipping. The pit is occupied by 2d6 bladebugs, with sharp mandibles of steel. They are made lethargic by the oil, but when wiped clean will regain their agility and promptly attempt to attack other creatures for sustenance.

L24.61 Lancefish

 A creature of the powderlakes. Shaped like a long pole around 50ft in length. It slithers through bodies of powderleaf, making palekrill their repast. It is caught in large amounts in the Helanthic Sprig where fishers compete to catch the longest lancefish. The current record lies with Fisherlord Caalgabid who caught a Lancefish nearly 300ft in length said to reside in the bowels of deep underbark lakes.

D24.60 Awlgeld's Mesh

A 300x200ft plexus of thick brass wires which criss-cross one another to form an undulating mesh. The mesh undulates upon receiving weight which may throw off creatures not sufficiently dextrous. Creatures with true seeing will be able to find invisible, sentient Orbs of Levitation who may be befriended by offering objects of pure copper.

L24.60 Fang of Autumn

A sacred artefact from the remains of the primordial Leafbeeste. Said to be able to conjure devastating storms of rustleaves capable of shredding and flaying the flesh of all those in their way when provided with a sufficient sacrifice of crops.
