L24.88 Kernelthief

One of the most heretical titles known to civilisations across the Qeleres. Given to those who seek to steal the grace of the kernels of the Divine Fruit of the Qeleres.

The fruitbearing of the Qeleres were recorded only twice in ancient tomes. It is said to have be in the shape of maize, and half the size of the tip of a sprig and manifests only at the tip of sprigs.

Due to its size, and the energies of creation condensed within it, it is said to explode and scatter its kernels in a dark explosion, distributing boulder sized kernels across the Spoke, distributing its grace to all beings in the Spoke.

The first Kernelthief was Librareiter Halakhad a ancient Grandmaster of the profaned Sorrelmancy who gathered a band of dangerous characters in a quest to halt the Divine Kernel Alhaklutaea in it its orbit and feed on its grace in their desire to gain divine powers.

Halakhad ambition nearly bore fruit but was put to end by a Band of Florets - a band of fourteen heroes from the Barren, Firm, Supple, Obscured and Banded Qeleres, concluding in the Battle of Dandelions, where the both hero and anti-hero harnessed terrifying powers - such as the manifestation of the Scentfleeced Horde, the condensation of Marblestorm into Marblereeds, and the shaping of the terrible Colossal Halberds Yhrangron the violent shards of which still orbit the Spoke to this day.

Such worldshaking powers were harnessed due to combatants' proximity to Alhaklutaea in their final battle the aftermath of which left a crater along the Desolate Qeleres which was shattered into three, and is now a site of holiest pilgrimage among many civilisations.
