D24.80 Cavehall of Glass

A cave of architectonic formations of glass. Numerous pot-like sculptures appear to be carved from the ground and are filled with many acids. 

The Cavehall is occupied by 2d6 gnolls led by a leader Fhurhun Halfskin, whose appears to be missing half his fur. 

Skilled in alchemy, he seeks to extract the stomach acids from various intruders, and will order his less intelligent fellows to attack. When threatened, he casts a range of transmutation Spells and is adept with unarmed combat.

Hidden in his bald arm is an intricately carved bone made of elm which acts as a wand from which he casts his spells. The wand regains 1d6 charges per day when implanted as a bone or soaked in blood, up to a maximum of 12 charges. 

Breaking the wand reveals an evil recipe of ascension, which allows one to concoct a potion that allows one to significantly advance in physical and spiritual might which requires numerous taboo ingredients and the permanent sacrifice of half one's hair to concoct
