L24.260 Shademud

An invaluable tincture made of a combination of herb infused oils and mud. Shademud is often used by many conjurers who find much activity within the Resplendent regions where shadow essence is lacking. One uses Shadmud by shattering the bottle nearby and focusing magic at one's feet. This will cause shademud to gather and follow along one's feet like a shadow - which greatly enhances a range of spells and gradually fades as more spells harness its might.

D24.259 Arcgrave

Grave of a colossal centipede named Arcscourge that spans 1800ft across a steep ravine and stretches 80ft wide. The chitin of Arcscourge is extremely thick and only slightly softer than steel, and all manner of creatures have shaped it over the ages into various caves and hovels. Some creatures include troglodytes, harpies and manticores.  Footing is also very precarious, as the centipede forms a U shape from one end of the ravine to the other, demanding on scale downwards and then upwards again. Digging deep into Arcscourge's flesh may reveal stone maggots which are extremely rare ingredients that form the base of some legendary tinctures.

L24.259 Galescorch Banner

An legendary banner once held by the Warlock Hwentur Lonn - master of pyromancy. Said to be forged using the wings of rare Firefly Crickets, the Galescorch Banner is capable of feeding upon the power of the winds, including smaller scale tornadoes - channelling their destructive power into flames that could be controlled by the banner's user at will. The last appearance of the Galescorch Banner was during the Battle of Blades, where Hwentur Lonn brought out the full potential of the banner at the cost of his own life to cripple 3 fanatical Mantis Saints - and only 8 scraps of the banner remain - each now considered a treasure on their own.

D24.258 Scaled Chamber

A 80x 80ft room made completely of steel scales polished to mirror finish. All rays fired in this room will be reflected at a random direction. The room is also occupied by 3d6 invisible ghosts that absorb the power of reflected rays. For each ray absorbed, the damage they deal increases by 1, up to a maximum of 6.

L24.258 Ascension Spiral

A spiral formed by colossal palm leaves entwined in an intricate spiral, located on the Supple Qeleres. Considered one of the precious natural wonders of the Spoke, the Ascension Spiral is a site of sacred ritual used to annoint Martial Priests who have proven to have attained profound understanding of combat, allowing them a chance to challenge the spiral. The rank of the Martial Priest is determined by how high on the Spiral he reaches, yet few have surmounted the first fifth of the spiral since the ritual's beginning.

D24.257 Passage of Greater Water

A 700ft long passage made of cobbled glass. Rapid streams of water fall from the top of the room subjecting creatures in the passage to a powerful water pressure that greatly damages all creatures not sufficiently strong to resist, or not of transcendental attunement to the water element. When resisting using strength, emerging from the end of the passage permanently enhances one's strength, while resisting using one's water attunement permanently increases one's skill in water spells.

L24.257 Fragrant Shell

A highly aromatic egg shell said to be remnants of the Unborn Scalegod - an ancient deity that nearly manifested within the Spoke.  Said to possess unbelievable medicinal properties, making it capable of curing most disease by being in proximity with the ailing. Yet upon possession of this art, one may find themselves targets of the elusive Stalwart Faith, who had since time immemorial destroyed nearly all shrines and records worshipping the Unborn Scalegod.

D24.256 Mount Sackwick

A strange subterranean mountain spanning 1700ft in radius, that soars 9000ft high. The mountain is densely vegetated by various types of reeds and canes that increasingly grow in stiffness and durability the higher one goes. In the mountain are numerous caverns where various troglodytes armed in weapons and armor made of cane or reed. Every 2000ft climbed, the weight one feels is increased twofold, making movement extremely difficult unless one is sufficiently strong. Spending a month training may improve one's strength, with time taken doubling every breakthrough.

L24.256 Obscuring Ember

One of the six transcendent embers in the spoke - the Obscuring Ember is an extremely rare ember that burns nearby creatures and objects at extremely high temperatures and causes invisible flames to manifest across any surface. The last recorded instance of the Obscuring Ember is written in the Hendian Codex - a partial remnant of a Dhirvian historical record which states that the Obscuring Ember was found in the Purifying Pool of the Headless Monastery of the Ancient Mantis Domain, which to this day has not been discovered by any explorer.

D24.255 Swordwright's Alley

A dark cobblestone alley 60ft wide, covered completely with numerous greatswords either cast on the ground or nailed at their pommel against the wall with thick copper pins that resemble long swords. The deeper one goes into the alley, the larger the swords become and the keener their edge. A sound of rapid hammering can be heard at the end of the alley where one can see a giant arcane forge glowing in various colours and the sparks flowing from the Swordwright, an undead dwarf with gigantism who forges only greatswords. The erratic melody from his hammering makes sentient weapons with less than 3 magical effects tremble with terror, and their effectiveness may be halved until at least 2 days later. The Swordwright will agree to exchange his exceptionally forged swords which hang on the walls in exchange for precious metals, and arcane gems. L24.255 Molten Castle Tahntuv

An ancient artifact that was once possessed by the Resplendent Warlock Huustaal Mihn. Said to be created by the forgotten rivals of the Dhirvians - Tahntuv is able to travel through the Anthre as an inconspicuous cloud or puddle, and quickly manifest itself as a frigid fort that gives of glacial power - essentially serving as a mobile fort. Tahntuv was used to guard against the Darkdust cluster that arrived from the Far Reaches 500 cycles ago, which threatened to greatly diminish the influence of Resplendence in the Spoke - and after a brief war lasting 5 cycles, the conflict ended in a stalemate which led to Tahntuv's abandonment. Yet, cycle after cycle, many resplendent heretics seek to claim Tahntuv for themselves causing no end of trouble in the region wherever the Darkdust cluster orbits.

D24.254 Fevermane Swamp

A swamp microbiome festering with ailing flora 200x400ft in size.  The swamp is home to many strange herbs that aggravate disease and bestow numerous ailments, and only those with transcendental knowledge of medicine may find it of great use. Swarms of acid spitting dragonflies with bright thoraxes fly about rapidly, seeking to chip off creatures flesh using their acid spit to feast on.

L24.254 Agdahnes of Sunken Sands

Agdahnes is the name of one of the most treacherous Dhirvian ruins discovered in the Spoke - which lies at the Thrutian Root-Tip of the Supple Qeleres. Much of the ruin is submerged in an acid swamp, or buried in acidic sand, which is highly dangerous to touch - capable of causing one's skin and flesh to waste away at a mere touch. It is for this reason little headway has been made in exploring the ruin, and even the mightiest of adventurers fear they might not survive in such a place. Yet the notion of unexplored Dhirvian ruins tempts many, and it is known that one may find very rare artefacts without having to search very long - if they are able to withstand the harsh conditions of the area.

D24.253 Grease Store

A warehouse 300x200ft in size within which are 90ft tall stone shelves carrying 5ft tall giant pots of grease which only those with sufficient strength may lift. Within one of the pots is hidden a key made of native platinum beating the insignia of an owl wearing a wizard's hat. Some of the pots are imbued with magic cancelling lodestone dust which may impedes manipulation through telekinesis, causing telekinetically moved pots to suddenly break free of such forces.

L24.253 Scalewind

A grand scale surveillance spell created by the Fell Resplendence. In order to cast the spell, one requires the sacrifice of around 10,000 scales of mirrorfish which will - upon successful casting of the sell - take flight like a stream of frigid light, up to 500 leagues away and provides sight to the caster of faraway areas, while being able to conceal itself as barely visible glimmers.

D24.252 Stone Garden

A strange garden 80x90ft in size which appears to exhibit various types of rock bearing the forms of various flowers and plants. A wooden sign is planted in front of each cluster of rocks upon which is written the type of rock in ancient elvish. Only those sufficiently insane or possesses profound eldritch knowledge will be able to upon studying the garden for at least 3 days, comprehend the ungodly symmetry between flora and stone, which will unlock within them very strange powers that allow them to form plants from stone, and stone from plants. Manifesting such power may cause the user to become targeted by the servants of various Gods who will attempt to kill the user, for the power may allow the user to eventually attain divinity.

L24.252 Redsilk Cloak

A cloak known for its extremely warm nature, allowing it to brave the frigid temperatures of bark polluted by resplendence or in regions closer to the Infernal Resplendence. Redsilk is a highly durable and insulating material that can only be produced by larvae of the Red Waxfly when they form their dark red cocoons at the end of their larval stage of growth. As the cocoon hardens significantly within a month, one must carefully harvest small amounts of redsilk quickly in order to allow Redsilk to retain its supple properties.

D24.251 Veldromir's Throat

The blazing throat of the Furnace Dragon Veldromir, 90ft in diameter, reaching 400ft deep leading to his belly. Due to Veldromir being sealed by the most powerful of Dwarven magics, 500 runic nails are studded upon its surface hidden amongst the large swathes of fire element cattails that grow virulently across the area. As Veldromir is alive - though extremely weak, and a powerful gust of sweltering wind - that is is breath - blows through the area every minute. Those unable to hold their ground may be blown off their feet, and those unable to resist the scorching heat may be burned. The throat is also home to swarms of mucosal fire slimes, who may ambush creatures in groups of 3d6.

L24.251 Petalmeat

Ranked the seventh among the Fifteen Culinary Bestowments, Petalmeat is made of the plump petalled Purple Periwinkle fermented in a particular tincture of the Five Foundational Wines. It is exceedingly hard to prepare as the amount of wine used to ferment the purple periwinkle varies depending on the season and the location where it is made. Apart from its wondrously savory-sweet taste and deliciously firm texture, it is said that consuming Petalmeat bestows great amounts of luck - as such it is often served in banquets, especially after victories in war or battle - where luck is said to have been thoroughly consumed owing to the survival of the victors. It is customary for petalmeat banquets to immediately follow after a successful siege - as each fort is likely to have a hidden stash of petalmeat. However, it due to its fermented nature, it is highly intoxicating, and may cause very deep inebriation to the dismay of many strategists who aim to consolidate their victories with a few m

D24.250 Gelatinous Emporium

A shop 100x100ft in size made of wobbly steel, run by a friendly Gelatinous cube named Krunya, who possesses an Orb of Greater Telepathy, allowing it to communicate with other creatures effortlessly. Krunya sells all sorts of objects obtained throughout the dungeon, and any rare items that may have been missed out on by adventurers may possibly be purchaseable in the shop. 

L24.250 Lichenbrew

 Also known as Beggars' Wine, Lichenbrew is a very mild alcoholic drink brewed by poorfolk throughout the Spoke using Lichen that commonly grows on wooden and stone surfaces.  While the wine is exceedingly common, it is considered an accomplishment for one to be able to brew Lichenbrew with a higher intoxicating nature than its usual, and being able to do it is one of the hallmarks of a master brewer who has mastered the foundations of brewing.

D24.249 Wave Chamber

A meticulously constructed chamber 300x200ft in size made completely 2 inch sided galena blocks. When a creature steps into the chamber, or a loud sound is made, a ripple forms among the blocks which extrude in a waveform pattern, mimicking that of rippling water.  But unlike water, the waveform persists across to the walls and along the ceiling, and slowly grow in amplitude. Every 30 seconds causes the waveform grow 5ft in size, and will serve as a moving obstacle, painfully knocking creatures in it's way, dealing more damage as time passes. Only an accomplished mage or bard learned in harmonics may know how to counteract the waveforms, and may also be able to determine the sound amplifying properties of the blocks of galena, which may only be removed by one skilled in Dwarven engineering after at least 1 hour of work.

L24.249 Hungerblade

 An esoteric art acquirable only by transcendent ascetics who are said to be able to externalize the needs of their body into an invisible dagger which, when striking a creature bestows to them unbearable hunger, thirst or any other need that the ascetic decides to externalize. The only recorded instance of an ascetic manifesting a Hungerblade was the Reticent Ascetic Khaal, who reclused in the treacherous Thorned Valley in the Wilderbark of the Supple Qeleres. With the Hungerblade, Khaal put an end to the tyranny of the Emperor of Blood Rund Alacoun who nearly attained faux immortality from his sacrifice of the flesh of nearly 200,000 creatures.

D24.248 Chamber of Misdirection

An unusual chamber made of embossed steel plates, 500x600ft in size. When moving through the room, every 30ft travelled or 6 seconds, triggers a mechanism which causes the steel plate on the ground to rotate in a random direction. Any attack or movement is diverted to the direction rotated towards.  One skilled in Dwarven engineering may be able to find a way to disassemble a floor plate which requires at least 1 hour. This floor plate creates the same effect when a creature steps on it.

L24.248 Saltbright Lead

One of the profaned artifacts of the Resplendents. Said to be made of the most corrupt of salts that was compressed upon the last length of the extinct Mirrorvine. It is also knowns the Beastnasters' Bane as it is bears the ability to dominate a range of many powerful creatures, turning them against their masters and bestowing them the terrible might of Saltbreath.

D24.247 Firedrinker Pavilion

An extremely foggy pavilion 80x90ft in size built atop a precarious spire. From afar the spire has the appearance of a very narrow volcano, but as one smells the fog, one will realise that it is not smoke but some sort of dense fog that forcefully draws out one's breath. Should any source of fire appear with 600ft of the pavilion, a ray of fog is fired towards it, immediately extinguishing it, and creating a suffocating cloud 30ft in diameter. The source of the fog is masterwork artifact called the Firedrinker Vase, which is a 10ft diameter vase made of Flowing Brass bears sculpted likeness of four dragons. Around the pavilion are numerous harpy nests home to extremely crafty harpies who possess flint headed arrow capable of creating small fires where they shoot, thereby invoking the Vase to their benefit.

L24.247 Fernedge Dewpond

A dewpond that exists on the Steel Fern that grows on the Supple Qeleres. Due to the Supple Qeleres' subtle oscillations few Ferns are capable of growing upon it's bark as they are typically dispersed before fully forming. Even rare is finding a dewpond, a spherical pond that occasionally forms at the edge of fern blades within which one may find a host of rare plants and creatures of metallic nature.

D24.246 Sand Flooded Chamber

A 80x90ft large chamber made of Ochre Bricks completely flooded with red sand. Buried in the sand is the Ghostwield Sarcophagus, which bestows its wielder the ability to evoke 2d6 ghosts up to 1d6 times a day. The type and additional numbers of ghosts depends on the amount of creatures that have died in the area. As it is currently unowned it evokes 2d6 tomb guardian ghosts to attack any creatures that approach it, which easily phase through the sand, allowing it employ infuriating hit and run tactics.

L24.246 The Saviours

The Saviours refer to a constellation of 2 darkstars that hang in the far reaches if the Anthre, but not commonly visible by the naked eye. It can only be seen as a 5 winged starbursts when in savage, Resplendent lands where it is used for navigation and serves as a beacon of hope. They are named after two heroes in far ancient times who were said to have sacrificed themselves in the fight against the first Resplendents, sealing them away for thousands of years.

D24.245 Flyeye Domain

A hellish domain stretching 800ft in diameter comprising islands of salt floating in greenish brine. The air is filled with countless reddish disembodied eyes of flies that fly about erratically, and can only be warded by anti-curse spells. The terrible sight chips at one's sanity, dealing 1 mental damage every 5 minutes, unless protected by a ward or effects of a potion. This domain is where the sacred relic Saltsinger resides, buried 400ft deep in a random salt mound. The rough location of Saltsinger can be detected by fitting a piece of thousand year amber inside the Left Gauntlet of Vaaldin, which when worn can the wear detect a faint pull in the direction of the weapon. Saltsinger is discovered piercing the faintly beating heart of a devil god Flyeye. Drawing it will awaken the god, which may result in world altering consequences...

L24.245 Dirandir Proboscis

Sacred relic of the Mantis Cult, whose members prize the art of cutting above all and hope to inherit he wisdom of the ancient Mantises. As the proboscis, is merely the organ through which mantises fed, immense cutting intent was discovered within it when the sacred organ was first discovered.  Now it is enshrined deep in the Silver Grotto deep in the Banded Qeleres where only the most capable of cult members are able to survive to learn from the relic.

D24.244 Wyverncrop

 A colossal stalagmite 90ft in diameter encased in numerous vines bearing autumn colours. Projecting across the vinebound surface are corn-like crops within which are germinating Plant-Wyverns, which emerge as vicious, bloodthirsty creatures that swarm any nearby creatures to feast on their flesh.

L24.244 Woundwood

A region of bark found on the Shattered Bark of the Desolate Qeleres. The Woundwood bears festering scars of shattered bark which have become infested with sporehaze, coating it with a patina of pink fed on by vulture centipedes that stalk the ruined Qeleres. Due to the broken state of the bark, many Dhirvian ruins may be accessed via the Anthre by navigating the bark underside, which provide much opportunity for uncovering precious artefacts but at a significant risk of being attacked and debilitated by disease.
