L24.263 Fortrice
A cultivar of rice known for its remarkable robustness and immense durability. But due to these properties, Fortrice is only edible to creatures with powerful fangs or highly acidic spit, and is only typically used to quickly build fortifications usually in the form of bags of Fortrice stalks that are much lighter than bark or stone, but has only slightly inferior resistance against most physical forces. It is for this reason also that Fortrice stalks are sometimes woven into shields or gambeson - offering much protection than other types of fibres.
