The acqueduct is named after Sunnuru, a barley farmer who asked the Enslaved King for water to be brought to his land. While the acqueduct no longer carries water, it casts a large shadow and provides a shaded path the travels leagues between Ninur-Sin and An-Ligir. The site is also frequently visited by scholarly processions from Lal-Mit hoping to glean the secrets of Tonal magic ...
