L25.119 Pillarbeard
A pejorative term referring to excessively vain men.
The term is said to be coined by Hanur-Alat, 4th Prince of the Kingdom of Geese, which was known during the Age of Petty Kingdoms for its immense wealth of copper.
The word Pillarbeard was used to mock the 2nd Prince of the same Kingdom, Hanur-Tomul, who was infamous for his obsession with vanity, in particular his extremely long and garishly groomed beard which was extremely straight and resembled a fluted pillar.
While Hanur-Alat's left forearm was dismembered by Hanur-Tomul, in a fit of rage for his derision and lack of respect, many years later, it was Hanur-Alat who triumphed in the succession wars and became known as the One-armed King, whose exploits are greatly romanticized to this day.
