L24.233 Lotus Vine Shrub

A shrub cultivar much sought after for its prized beans that grow in clusters of 8 atop their fruits. The Lotus Vine Shrub bears the appearance of entwined vines that form a diminuitive trunk, and grows up to a height of 4 ft. Due to the difficulty of most Lotus Vine Shrubs growing upright, which is key to creating healthy fruits, it is often supported by wooden struts placed by farmers that allow it to gain a proper posture.

When fruiting, the Lotus Vine Shrub creates a large round pink colored fruit that is known to be mildly toxic and bears an astringent taste, however the 8 beans that grow atop them are highly savory and much sought after for use in many cuisines after being fermented.
