L24.230 Silver Tadpole

A mythical phenomenon said to arise within some creatures that have received an excess of the Qeleric kernel's grace, granting certain creatures immeasurable power and lifespan. Though in some cultures it is considered a mark of divinity, many religions across the Qeleres have deemed it as a mark of blasphemy as most venerate the Qeleres as an impartial giver of blessings, and hoarding all of its blessings for oneself runs counter to the largely egalitarian scripture.

It is for this reason all record of this phenomenon and all history of those who have inherited the Silver Tadpole have been expunged or rewritten as Kernelthieves. It is said that Librareiter Galvand Rhonul's library was destroyed, and his life taken by a mad crusade of twenty polities who plotted against the ailing Librareiter when it was revealed he possessed a partial copy of the Silver Slips that recorded the life of a deity who had gained a Silver Tadpole and contained instructions on the rituals needed to prepare oneself to gradually nurture the Silver Tadpole to unlock greater powers that would allow one to move bark as one willed and conjure a range of magics on the scale of natural disasters.

At the end of the crusade, all tablets in the Librareiter's library were dashed, and its contents remain unknown forevermore.

L24.7 Scintrose

 A terrible illness which causes flower-like marks to form on the skin of the infected. These flower-like marks emit colored light which is considered a bad omen by many civilisations save those of the Shrouded Nest whose Saintess was said to have Scintrose across and within her body. As the disease advances, the marks become more detailed, until the point actual Brightflowers actually bloom upon the skin of the infected. At this point the flowers release an infectious pollen which spreads by air to infect others.

D24.185 Prison of the Lothgem

Lothgem, a hideous uncut spinel the size of a fist levitating above a tarnished silver pedestal, surrounded by walls made of mosaics of precious jewels depicting praying Dwarven monks.  It is dull to the point it darkens the light about it. When held, it repels all manner of jewels, crystals and precious stones, and may even repel magical precious stones when on a 1 of a 1d6 roll.  The Lothgem is sentient but reticent, and utterly despises all creatures who wear any sort of precious jewelry, and may forcefully repel such creatures adornments depending on its whims. Conversely, it likes the company of tarnished, rusty or scratched stones and may decide to accompany those adorned by them.
