D24.243 Mossmound

A large mound of multicolored moss found a a cavern of glistening sharp sphalerite 120ft in diameter. The moss gives off a highly medicinal scent indicating its immense alchemical properties. Hidden in each of  5 holes in the ceiling are 3d6 giant centipedes that bear intense venom capable of paralyzing and causing rapid ageing.

These Centipedes immediately ambush any creatures who attempt to touch the moss. Those learned in medicine may be able to find a use of Centipedes whose venom may be tinctured to create potions that cause rapid regeneration, potentially capable of even regrowing lost limbs over time.

Deep inside the mound of moss is a large coffin made of transparent chalcedony within which is a green colored skeleton seemingly made of bright multicolored moss which seems to be imbuing the surroundings with medicinal prowess. This artifact is only capable of doing so when encased in an area made of sphalerite.

 A terrible illness which causes flower-like marks to form on the skin of the infected. These flower-like marks emit colored light which is considered a bad omen by many civilisations save those of the Shrouded Nest whose Saintess was said to have Scintrose across and within her body. As the disease advances, the marks become more detailed, until the point actual Brightflowers actually bloom upon the skin of the infected. At this point the flowers release an infectious pollen which spreads by air to infect others.

D24.185 Prison of the Lothgem

Lothgem, a hideous uncut spinel the size of a fist levitating above a tarnished silver pedestal, surrounded by walls made of mosaics of precious jewels depicting praying Dwarven monks.  It is dull to the point it darkens the light about it. When held, it repels all manner of jewels, crystals and precious stones, and may even repel magical precious stones when on a 1 of a 1d6 roll.  The Lothgem is sentient but reticent, and utterly despises all creatures who wear any sort of precious jewelry, and may forcefully repel such creatures adornments depending on its whims. Conversely, it likes the company of tarnished, rusty or scratched stones and may decide to accompany those adorned by them.
