 Eventually, with both sides fatigued by war, the the Land Serpents and Cloud Serpents made peace. The landed Cloud Serpents took the initiative to negotiate peace as they grew weary of combat and had gotten used to the comforts of living on land, and quickly lost the ability to take flight.

There were several other Cloud Serpents however who were of more temperate disposition, and limited their consumption of Barley to only the amount required to stay in control of themselves.
