In the beginning the Land Serpents forged weapons they saw their enemies brandished - maces and javelins which struck with greater might than their counterparts shaped from ice.

Thereafter they were graced by the prodigious Kur-Ustam who invented the Barley-woven Sling and the copper Sling bullet which struck the flying Cloud Serpents with great accuracy.

With these new arms, the Land Serpents reclaimed several holdings.
