L25.316 The Qos-Omili

The Qos-Omili are a distinct race of peoples originating from Unending Jungles who have forged a long-lived pact with the Holy Ka-Abir. They reside in the southeastern region named Qos-Omil, which is known for its badlands and cacti-forests.

Unlike the rest of the Polities, they are mostly tribal to this day, but are treated as equals to the other polities due to the uniqueness of their people and unparalleled prowess in combat.

The Qos-Omili have a striking appearance as their skeleton can be partially seen through their semi-transparent pale flesh, and they bear slightly elongated ears rembling the wings of moths. 

Their people have dislike for dress and only prize the donning of jewelry such has necklaces, crowns, anklets and bracelets. 

Due to their ferociousness in battle, they are occasionally employed as exotic champions to serve in wars by other polities. Other than these champions, few leave their region as they are mainly occupied with internal wars and form the bulwark against the onslaught of beasts and savages along their southern border with the Unending Jungles.

An extremely windy mountain range. Small creatures with inadequate footing may be blown off balance. #Lore24 Complete! Congratulations to all who made it through! It was an extremely productive challenge which I think I will continue for many years to come! Let's go #Lore25 !!  Here are the top 10 starred lore fragments. I plan to draw some art of them tomorrow. Interestingly, most of them were at the start, where many were very motivated. But alas, things died down past the 1st quarter but I'm glad for my Crimson Nest and Mistberry which made it in to top 10 (albeit many others had at least 2 stars). The Manticore Belfries... Home to madmen breeding bloodthirsty manticores. The promise of treasure is great. That - I'll admit. But I'd stay clear of that place if I were you... Unless you are a madman yourself, or enjoy the feeling of spines piercing your flesh. Wastetreader Dykstra A cluster of 200ft tall tapered towers made of alabaster bricks topped with a bulbous cage that serve as belfries for manticores. The towers are connected to one another via 100ft wide cliffside tunnels open to one side, held up by rock-hewn pillars fixed with sconces. These partially open tunnels snake around the edges of the cliff, connecting the Greater East Wall to the north and the Lesser Wall to the south.
