A 60ft high wall with battlements, on which is a 40ft wide way which stretches in the north south direction.

Every 100ft along the wall is a watchtower manned by several crossbow wielding zombies and one apprentice battlemage.

The structure is made completely of polished limestone, and is extremely slippery, making climbing upon it very difficult.

Points of Interest

Petrified Giants

A massive break in the wall 200ft wide that cleaves down all the way to the ground level.

The break is occupied by two gargantuan Giants in a frozen stance of charging through the wall.

Crossing across requires careful climbing around their petrified bodies which are inhabited by several harpies and other flying creatures.

Encounters

Roll Encounter
1 Patrolling troop of 3 crossbowmen and 1 swordsman, Zombies with 3 HD, armor as chainmail
2 A flock of 2d6 Harpies, wielding javelins.
3 A group of 1d6 Giant Ice Snails. They are not aggressive, but may cause severe frostbite when touched. They are usually block the way, forcing those passing through to find other means to go through.
4 A band of 1d6 undead pilgrim clerics (Evil Cleric, 5 HD, Unarmored, +1 Mace enchanted with Chaos) with 2d6 skeletal escort (Swordsmen, 2HD, Armor as Leather), adherents of Chaos. Clerics each carry a scroll of evil alignment.

An extremely windy mountain range. Small creatures with inadequate footing may be blown off balance. Occasionally one hears the croaking chorus of distant herds of wooly toads and the cawing of crafty Crowdragons who roost and nest in the shadow of the dark blue peaks the cut the welkin like a jagged wound. #Lore24 Complete! Congratulations to all who made it through! It was an extremely productive challenge which I think I will continue for many years to come! Let's go #Lore25 !!  Here are the top 10 starred lore fragments. I plan to draw some art of them tomorrow. Interestingly, most of them were at the start, where many were very motivated. But alas, things died down past the 1st quarter but I'm glad for my Crimson Nest and Mistberry which made it in to top 10 (albeit many others had at least 2 stars). The Manticore Belfries... Home to madmen breeding bloodthirsty manticores. The promise of treasure is great. That - I'll admit. But I'd stay clear of that place if I were you... Unless you are a madman yourself, or enjoy the feeling of spines piercing your flesh. Wastetreader Dykstra A cluster of 200ft tall tapered towers made of alabaster bricks topped with a bulbous cage that serve as belfries for manticores. The towers are connected to one another via 100ft wide cliffside tunnels open to one side, held up by rock-hewn pillars fixed with sconces. These partially open tunnels snake around the edges of the cliff, connecting the Greater East Wall to the north and the Lesser Wall to the south. At the foot of each of the towers are fortifications accessible through a thick iron gate, staffed with a platoon of undead soldiers. They will not attack unless provoked.
