L25.220 Eyeless Sardines

A common type of fish that is found in large lakes and along the coastal regions of Ulrunir. Known for its lack of eyes and its characteristic 3 large dark spots that form a pattern along its scales.

They are usually extensively fished and farmed to produce dried sardines which are used mainly as a base for broths prepared by the commoners of the land.

The broth produced from eyeless sardines are of a deep amber colour and is said to have a savoury, slightly salty taste that whets appetite.
