In spite of the eruptions of pain that rang across his arm, echoing through his ribs and body, Hajer clung on tightly, holding the handle of his axe with both his hands as his descent soon slowed.

After a few moments, the quartermaster returned with a chest and a key. Placing it on his side of the counter, he unlocked it and withdrew from it two bronze badges. "You're in luck... We just have two left," he spoke as he placed the two badges on the counter and shifted it towards the three.
