The sound of crunching wood rang from Baker's right alongside the whistling wind of his fall.
Hajer clenched his teeth as he braced for the pain that would follow as the force from his fall now raced across his right arm and joints.
A wave of immense pain shot through his shoulder to his wrist as he desperately held onto his axe which dug into the bark of the Sprig, slowing his fall.
