L25.200 Beetle of Hopelessness
An unusual, likely mythical beetle with a single wing that makes up the entirety of its back.
Its moulted shell is said to have been the fetish of the First Ascetic, whose deeds and ability to face despair was unparalleled, much like the one-winged beetle which was born with the hope of flight but would never have such means.
It was these deeds that inspired the Tribes in the regions of Shur-Qamet to eventually cultivate their own Ascetics who eventually became the source of wisdom, insight and self-sacrifice.
