L25.194 Shards of Iriduru

Fragments of a legendary mace wielded by the Grand Chieftain Kur-Ulridu, a serpent man chieftain who lead his warband in battle against the Five Messengers of the Deity of Floods.

Privy to the strange powers of Serpentine Magics, Kur-Ulridu had the Witches of Six hundred and forty tribes enchant his mace, which thereafter became powerful enough to harm the servants of the deities.

Riding the now extinct flying tortoise, his warband of twelve thousand four hundred and twenty eight heroes fought the forces of the flood, which led to the end of the Primordial Age.

In his final clash, the mace Iriduru was shattered into Six Hundred and Forty shards, which are rumored to lie deep in the depths of Ulrunir to this day.

Occasionally these shards would surface, bringing forth great chaos, upheaval, strife and revolution, only to disappear and be forgotten as time passed.

The Manticore Belfries... Home to madmen breeding bloodthirsty manticores. The promise of treasure is great. That - I'll admit. But I'd stay clear of that place if I were you... Unless you are a madman yourself, or enjoy the feeling of spines piercing your flesh. Wastetreader Dykstra A cluster of 200ft tall tapered towers made of alabaster bricks topped with a bulbous cage that serve as belfries for manticores. The towers are connected to one another via 100ft wide cliffside tunnels open to one side, held up by rock-hewn pillars fixed with sconces. These partially open tunnels snake around the edges of the cliff, connecting the Greater East Wall to the north and the Lesser Wall to the south. #Lore24 Complete! Congratulations to all who made it through! It was an extremely productive challenge which I think I will continue for many years to come! Let's go #Lore25 !!  Here are the top 10 starred lore fragments. I plan to draw some art of them tomorrow. Interestingly, most of them were at the start, where many were very motivated. But alas, things died down past the 1st quarter but I'm glad for my Crimson Nest and Mistberry which made it in to top 10 (albeit many others had at least 2 stars).
