L25.192 Suru-Ku'dim, the Golden Forge

 One of the most richest, populous and most dangerous cities in Ulrunir. Located in Southeastern Agash and built around the infamous Mount Egsurgan which spans 5 leagues which is known for its rich deposits of high quality golden copper.

Despite being under the sphere of influence of Agash and under the rule of the Sum-Unu, the Tower of Chalk - several powerful forces from the other polities wield significant influence there via embassies or merchant associations, ensuring a steady stream into the coffers of the city.

The prosperity of the city appears continuous even in the face of semi-regular eruptions of Mount Egsurgan, and despite destruction faced throughout times of disaster, it is constantly rebuilt rapidly.

The main exports of the city include a huge volume of highest quality metalwork and high quality food ingredients due to the glut of high quality ore and fertile volcanic ash that is regularly replenished after disaster.

The Manticore Belfries... Home to madmen breeding bloodthirsty manticores. The promise of treasure is great. That - I'll admit. But I'd stay clear of that place if I were you... Unless you are a madman yourself, or enjoy the feeling of spines piercing your flesh. Wastetreader Dykstra A cluster of 200ft tall tapered towers made of alabaster bricks topped with a bulbous cage that serve as belfries for manticores. The towers are connected to one another via 100ft wide cliffside tunnels open to one side, held up by rock-hewn pillars fixed with sconces. These partially open tunnels snake around the edges of the cliff, connecting the Greater East Wall to the north and the Lesser Wall to the south. #Lore24 Complete! Congratulations to all who made it through! It was an extremely productive challenge which I think I will continue for many years to come! Let's go #Lore25 !!  Here are the top 10 starred lore fragments. I plan to draw some art of them tomorrow. Interestingly, most of them were at the start, where many were very motivated. But alas, things died down past the 1st quarter but I'm glad for my Crimson Nest and Mistberry which made it in to top 10 (albeit many others had at least 2 stars).
