L25.177 The Doomed Potter

An ancient but popular parable featuring Ulrurur the Doomed, Deity of Pottery, the most talented of all deities in the Higher Realm who was said to be responsible for the creation of Ulrunir herself, during the first days of the Primordial Age.

The parable speaks of how Ulrurur sought to being order the the Primordial Mud by shaping it into pots. However the other deities who descended were jealous of his work and worked together to curse him, making him incapable of shaping mud.

Due to this, all Ulrurur could shape were terrible abominations, failed pots that became the terrible creatures who terrorized the first peoples of the land.

Despite Ulrurur's exalted status as creator of the world, he is often used as an example for people to practice humility and hide strength.
