A living fossil of a plant rumored to have descended from the heavenly realm 

It takes the form of a shrivelled, scaly black bean with a single long scaly sprout that curves about in the cave it resides making it resemble a dead adder.

Located in a restricted area deep under the surface of Lal-Mit, only accessible to certain individuals, that exclude even the Cauldrons.

According to the Forbidden Archives, the Adder Bean is surmised to be an early attempt at attaining immortality by the Serpent Men of the Primordial Age.

#Lore24 Complete! Congratulations to all who made it through! It was an extremely productive challenge which I think I will continue for many years to come! Let's go #Lore25 !!  Here are the top 10 starred lore fragments. I plan to draw some art of them tomorrow. Interestingly, most of them were at the start, where many were very motivated. But alas, things died down past the 1st quarter but I'm glad for my Crimson Nest and Mistberry which made it in to top 10 (albeit many others had at least 2 stars). Unless you are a madman yourself, or enjoy the feeling of spines piercing your flesh. Wastetreader Dykstra A cluster of 200ft tall tapered towers made of alabaster bricks topped with a bulbous cage that serve as belfries for manticores. The towers are connected to one another via 100ft wide cliffside tunnels open to one side, held up by rock-hewn pillars fixed with sconces. These partially open tunnels snake around the edges of the cliff, connecting the Greater East Wall to the north and the Lesser Wall to the south.
