L25.109 Lobster Scarab
A rare scarab with shells of extremely vibrant colours known for its uncanny resemblance to palm-sized freshwater lobsters.
Unlike their freshwater doppelgangers, the scarab is much smaller in size, typically around the size of a thumb.
It is typically petrified by feeding it amber and used as part of jewellery, which some circles find more tasteful that the typical fare of gemstones and pearls.
It is also used in the making of pigments of deep colours used only by the most accomplished of painters.
