L25.75 The Rainbow Parrot
A creature of bad omen typically used as a symbol in the divination rituals of Gur-Qet, which involve the dealing of slips of bark engraved and painted with ornate pictures of of exotic creatures.
Depicted as parrot tinged in with its wings spread apart with wings made of 6 large feathers of the colours red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet holding a whip and sickle with its two claws.
The Rainbow Parrot depicts chaos, revolt and transformation. According to some historical records, lesser fiefs were said to fall within three months after its sighting, typically in the dreams of people at night or witnessed in the night sky. When sighted in the day, or during an afternoon slumber, it is the omen is said to be averted.
