L25.6 Heroic Envoy of Peace

While Ninur-Sin is said to be united by the Covenant of Heroes, wars between Heroes and their subjects are an occasional affair.

Still, to avoid being preyed on by the other polities of Ulrunir, special Envoys of peace are sometimes dispatched to negotiate peace between warring subjects or even heroes should the conflict begin to go out of hand.

These envoys are specially elected saints who are bestowed special privileges to avoid being assassinated by malicious actors, but are ritually castrated as part of the Rite of Peace to prevent dynastic nepotism.

While becoming an Envoy is considered an honor even higher than that of the Thrones of the Covenant, it is occasionally used by powerful clans to elect those deemed overly ambitious to cull their visions of grandeur.

#Lore24 Complete! Congratulations to all who made it through! It was an extremely productive challenge which I think I will continue for many years to come! L24.1 Chameleon Riders of Yrhenu

Skilled riders of nimble Chameleons capable of adhereing the the stalks and leaves of Qelerian plants.  They wield large halberds forged from Bramber, sheperd and reap the herds of Frogstock that make the same plants their pasture. While some prefer a bucolic life of herding Frogstock in groups of three to five, there are a few in who build a much greater kinship with their Chamelons, and are capable of blending into the environment. These master riders seek larger prey from hunting Mudtoads at the lower strata of the Stalks.

D24.185 Prison of the Lothgem

Lothgem, a hideous uncut spinel the size of a fist levitating above a tarnished silver pedestal, surrounded by walls made of mosaics of precious jewels depicting praying Dwarven monks.  It is dull to the point it darkens the light about it. When held, it repels all manner of jewels, crystals and precious stones, and may even repel magical precious stones when on a 1 of a 1d6 roll.  The Lothgem is sentient but reticent, and utterly despises all creatures who wear any sort of precious jewelry, and may forcefully repel such creatures adornments depending on its whims. Conversely, it likes the company of tarnished, rusty or scratched stones and may decide to accompany those adorned by them.
