L25.31 Order of The Oriole
One of the prominent Poetic Orders of Lal-Mit - extremely influential and wealthy guilds of Poet-Riders who devote their lives to the learnings of ethics and poetics of combat, seeking to elevate the act of war into a refined art, above the savagery of primal slaughter.
The Order of Oriole has core tenets that elevate the concepts of alliance and co-operation, and as such has the largest membership of Riders which devote their service to assembling bands of riders given the title of Rescuer who often tread into dangerous territory to rescue peoples who are stranded, trapped, or abducted.
The Order is led by the direction of the Grand Poet, who is advised by a council of High Orioles, who are greatly travelled riders that gain key tidings that inform the Order's doings on a grand scale.
