L25.29 Owlwood

A type of building material used in early northern Ulruniri architecture. While many buildings across the cultures of Ulrunir are now mainly made of bricks, clay and rammed earth, their forms once existed as wooden prototypes. In particular, Owlwood was reserved for the most sacred and important of ancient buildings due to the presence of owls who nest, and roost safely within, giving it the association of protective and warding energies.

Today, Owlwood is occasionally used to erect makeshift temples in extremely remote areas at the frontiers of Ulruniri territories, where access to brick is not readily available.
