L25.20 Cauldron of Oak
A mythical cauldron made from the trunk of an ancient oak tree said to have been used by the First Healer to concoct the First Medicines, one of the ancestors of the Archsages of Lal-Mit.
While there were no shortage of crucibles fashioned from clay, crystal, and granite during the early ages of Lal-Mit, the First Healer was said to have been struck with divine inspiration, revealing to him the secrets of brewing with a wooden cauldron without it turning into ash.
This extraordinary display propelled Lal-Mit to the forefront of hidden knowledge which the best of her people devote their lives to.
Yet to this day, while many secrets of magic have been uncovered, the secret of the Cauldron of Oak remains unknown, and it is often used as an idiom for transcendental knowledge.
