L25.10 Heroic Divination of Mirrored Clay

A yearly ritual carried out by the Thrones of the Heroic Covenant said to be able to forecast the fortunes of the Covenant with incredible accuracy. The process of the heroic divination is extremely secret, and only surmised due to the large shipments of mirrored clay to the Heroic Capital near the ends of the year. 

All discussion of the divination ritual are socially considered to be taboo yet is not enforced as a forbiddance in the society. Yet, loudly talking about the Divination may cause one to be socially executed due to the folkloric tale of how the First Priestess of Divination purportedly used it to announce the fates of people, ultimately earning her retribution from the heavens. 

Yet curiously, fictional accounts & indirect language about the divination rite appear to be throughout the society.

According to one tale, the Progenitors of the Thrones would each get a turn per year harness the power of divination from the rite, but as they began to use its power against one another, they agreed by pact to offer the rite only to the top 3 who give the most labors and sacrifices for Ninur-Sin for the year - and all divinings are shared among the three. Typically, following the divination, 3 of the Thrones would experience the most prosperity and success.

L24.1 Chameleon Riders of Yrhenu

Skilled riders of nimble Chameleons capable of adhereing the the stalks and leaves of Qelerian plants.  They wield large halberds forged from Bramber, sheperd and reap the herds of Frogstock that make the same plants their pasture. While some prefer a bucolic life of herding Frogstock in groups of three to five, there are a few in who build a much greater kinship with their Chamelons, and are capable of blending into the environment. These master riders seek larger prey from hunting Mudtoads at the lower strata of the Stalks.

D24.185 Prison of the Lothgem

Lothgem, a hideous uncut spinel the size of a fist levitating above a tarnished silver pedestal, surrounded by walls made of mosaics of precious jewels depicting praying Dwarven monks.  It is dull to the point it darkens the light about it. When held, it repels all manner of jewels, crystals and precious stones, and may even repel magical precious stones when on a 1 of a 1d6 roll.  The Lothgem is sentient but reticent, and utterly despises all creatures who wear any sort of precious jewelry, and may forcefully repel such creatures adornments depending on its whims. Conversely, it likes the company of tarnished, rusty or scratched stones and may decide to accompany those adorned by them.
