D24.354 Frozen Nest

A colossal nest completely encased in a 200ft diameter 100ff fall cylinder of silver ice. Only one capable of passing through physical obstacles or ice may be able to survive in the area without suffocating.

At the centre of the nest is the perfectly preserved corpse of the dwarven Archmagister of Ice, Cumulin.

She wears 3d6 powerful magical rings, and 3d6 magical items on her person, and possesses a spellbook with 2d6 rare spells of the ice element.

In her belly is the thumb sized egg of the fabled Quail of Time, which is of a priceless value.

Due to the egg, she cannot be resurrected or animated, and only one with an artifact or grand ritual capable of transcending time may free her from her suspension without removing the egg from her belly.

Should she be freed without violent means, she will agree to accompany her saviour and lend her wisdom and knowledge for up to 10 years as recompense.

The power of the egg cannot be normally harnessed other than force feeding it to someone, and only one close to divinity may be able to draw unique powers from it after attuning with it for at least 1 year.
