D24.300 Pit of Rags

An only pit of rags soaked in various oils, 40ft in diameter, reachin up to a height of 80ft. Numerous rags cut from various types of cloth and fabric appear to have been cast down, and they appear to all be soaked in some sort of vegetable oil - which causes the whole pit to be heavy with the scent of such oils. Only one sufficiently dextrous may be able to climb out of the pit.

Should one attempt to try to fly out of the hole, one will find themselves incapable of even manifesting such a spell. This is due to one of the rags being inscribed with a transcendental rune that bars flight in a 40ft diameter up to a height of 80ft. One with great skill in the detection of magic may be able to detect this rune, and one skilled in the craft of dwarven runes may learn its secrets after around 3 months of study.

L24.1 Chameleon Riders of Yrhenu

Skilled riders of nimble Chameleons capable of adhereing the the stalks and leaves of Qelerian plants.  They wield large halberds forged from Bramber, sheperd and reap the herds of Frogstock that make the same plants their pasture. While some prefer a bucolic life of herding Frogstock in groups of three to five, there are a few in who build a much greater kinship with their Chamelons, and are capable of blending into the environment. These master riders seek larger prey from hunting Mudtoads at the lower strata of the Stalks.

D24.185 Prison of the Lothgem

Lothgem, a hideous uncut spinel the size of a fist levitating above a tarnished silver pedestal, surrounded by walls made of mosaics of precious jewels depicting praying Dwarven monks.  It is dull to the point it darkens the light about it. When held, it repels all manner of jewels, crystals and precious stones, and may even repel magical precious stones when on a 1 of a 1d6 roll.  The Lothgem is sentient but reticent, and utterly despises all creatures who wear any sort of precious jewelry, and may forcefully repel such creatures adornments depending on its whims. Conversely, it likes the company of tarnished, rusty or scratched stones and may decide to accompany those adorned by them.
