D24.178 Dam of Triplet Wizards

A small but sloped 300ft tall dam plated in shiny brass that stretches 70ft in an arc that affords a 60ft wide bridge connecting the Jarmakers Quarter and the Glassworkers Quarter in Middle Craagveald. Three main braces hold the dam in place with repeated brass sculptures of three Dwarven wizards holding up their hand repeating every 30ft drop.

At the bottom of the dam are heavily polluted inhabited by 5d20 rust monsters and giant centipedes. 

The keen eyed may notice that one of the dwarf statues is wearing a golden ring, which bestows the ability to manifest magical brass 3 times a day on one's skin, which affords resistance to magical rays and slashing attacks.

Should one attempt to reach the statue one may find the dexterity tested as a wrong step may result in swift drop down below.

#Lore24 Complete! Congratulations to all who made it through! It was an extremely productive challenge which I think I will continue for many years to come! L24.1 Chameleon Riders of Yrhenu

Skilled riders of nimble Chameleons capable of adhereing the the stalks and leaves of Qelerian plants.  They wield large halberds forged from Bramber, sheperd and reap the herds of Frogstock that make the same plants their pasture. While some prefer a bucolic life of herding Frogstock in groups of three to five, there are a few in who build a much greater kinship with their Chamelons, and are capable of blending into the environment. These master riders seek larger prey from hunting Mudtoads at the lower strata of the Stalks.

D24.185 Prison of the Lothgem

Lothgem, a hideous uncut spinel the size of a fist levitating above a tarnished silver pedestal, surrounded by walls made of mosaics of precious jewels depicting praying Dwarven monks.  It is dull to the point it darkens the light about it. When held, it repels all manner of jewels, crystals and precious stones, and may even repel magical precious stones when on a 1 of a 1d6 roll.  The Lothgem is sentient but reticent, and utterly despises all creatures who wear any sort of precious jewelry, and may forcefully repel such creatures adornments depending on its whims. Conversely, it likes the company of tarnished, rusty or scratched stones and may decide to accompany those adorned by them.
